If you like the layout, buy the Thesis Wordpress template. I'm using it pretty much out of the box, with a few tweaks. It's a framework built on top of wordpress, which means you are betting on two separate development efforts, but I think it's a worthwhile gamble for where we are on the web today. i designed and hacked (er, had a real developer hack) the logo into the header there; the rest is all Thesis Wordpress. We were lucky to have bought ten years ago, which means we are actually paying less, at the moment, to live in our place than it would cost to rent the same space. I read a great post while doing the RBA / OMB work which basically asserted that, if you can't buy a house and rent it profitably, the market you're in sucks. This is one of those stunningly obvious statements that for some reason very few people ever say out loud. I knew you bought sort of late. I'm sure we would have done the exact same thing if we had been in your position. I know that I lost lots of my retirement in the safe as houses (hah!) mutual funds my 'financial advisors' put me in. I'd have been better putting my money in CDs for the last 10 years. Not the last year; the last ten years. I know this because my wife basically did that.
